Live Webinar 1 - Chapter 5: Patient Care: Expectations and Protocol - Operative Standards

Nadine Walker, MS, CTR will provide an overview of the Cancer Surgery Standards Program and some of its accomplishments to date. There will be a discussion about the Synoptic Operative Reports (SORs) and their impact on CoC accreditation. Several ways that cancer registrars may benefit from the implementation of the SORs will also be discussed.

• Describe the CoC site review process for the Operative Standards.
• Outline ways that registrars can benefit from the CoC Synoptic Operative Reports.
