Abstracting & Coding: Thoracic Sites
Sandra James-Steen will discuss updates on cancers in the primary sites within the thoracic cavity. She will review the anatomy of the site and the AJCC Cancer Staging Manual, Eighth Edition and SEER Summary Staging rules for the site. Recent developments in treatments will also be addressed.

- Discuss the anatomy of the thoracic cavity as it relates to stagingand treatment.
- Illustrate recent developments in biomarkers, treatments, and or imaging modalities.
- Understand abstracting conundrums that may be seen in the sites within the thoracic cavity .
