Texas Training - Photodynamic Therapy of Lung Cancer (2025)
Dr. Karin Trujillo will explain Photodynamic therapy (PDT), a minimally invasive therapeutic modality used for the management of a variety of cancers. She will describe the PDT process to destroy cancer cells using light-sensitive drugs and a visible light beam to treat non-small cell lung and esophageal cancer and the implications.
