Denise Harrison, BS, ODS-C will highlight AJCC, EOD, and Summary Stage changes between 8th Edition and V9 for NET of multiple sites including Stomach, Pancreas, Duodenum, Ampulla of Vater, Ileum, Jejunum, Appendix, and Colon and Rectum. She will also discuss the Ki-67 SSDI, which is common to all the GI NET schemas and delineate various prognostic tumor characteristics and non-tumor factors.

Denise Harrison is the former Department Chair and Program Director for the NCRA-Accredited Cancer Information Management Program at Santa Barbara City College. Harrison is currently serving as a private consultant for health-related HIM companies and the Texas Department of State Health Services. She also continues to consult with Commission on Cancer (CoC) accredited hospital-based programs. Harrison earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of West Florida in Pensacola and did post-graduate studies in microbiology and immunology at Texas A & M University in Kingsville, TX. Harrison has contributed to all forms of NCRA continuing education and has served on several NCRA committees. She is NCRA’s Immediate Past President.
