Chad Cragle, MD, PhD will provide an overview of intra-abdominal and retroperitoneal sarcomas, focusing on their common clinical presentations and the complex anatomy involved in diagnosis and treatment. He will explore the diverse biological behavior of sarcomas, recognizing how tumor subtype and disease characteristics influence management and outcomes. Dr. Cragle will also emphasize the critical role of multidisciplinary care, highlighting the collaboration among surgical, medical, and radiation oncology teams, as well as radiology and pathology specialists, to deliver optimal patient-centered treatment.
